Just wanted to say thank you to Peter for the time he spent with Gerry and I last night at the pool - I know that had to be uncomfortable (about 125 degrees and 90 percent RH). And also a big thanks to Barb and your other staff people for being so helpful and friendly.You folks provide a level of service that's well above and way beyond any other company (dive shop or other) that we've dealt with - and we're sure glad we saw your truck and decided to come in!
I sincerely wish you much success - I assure you that I'll not shop anywhere else for gear!

I wanted to send a note to thank you and the staff at Gobe Divers for everything. From the guidance in equipment decision making to a smile and a "hello" every time I stopped by. I know without a doubt that I have found my "home" in diving.
I also wanted to say a BIG thank you to Cindy for being my trainer. She made it fun and relaxing to learn in an environment that can really stress people. I think that she is a wonderful trainer and person. She is an asset to the shop.

Thank you for insisting on yet another lesson yesterday. You were right! I feel very comfortable now with the various skills…
Thank you again for your patient and innovative teaching. You worked and worked until you found a way for me to understand each skill…I may still envy our A/C repair guy who went diving off of a cruise ship after 45 minutes of not very good instruction, but I am glad to know that with what you have taught all of us, we will be much safer under water.
When you see Patrick, please give him my huge thanks. He worked so hard to calm me down after the snorkel dive, and then worked so hard just to get me to get my face back in the water. He even tried to modify the various skills so that I could do them with just bending at the waist in the shallowest part to just get my face under water. He is a big part of why I continued.

Dear Gobe Divers,
Our dive trip to Hawaii was a total success thanks to the greatest dive shop in the Rockies! The diving was awesome, the coral reefs were loaded with fish. The octopus, rays and turtles kept smiles on our faces throughout our dives. We didn’t know what we were looking at and it didn’t really matter, it was all fascinating.
Joni got a “Big Island Tattoo”- she brushed up against a sea urchin during the manta ray night dive—ouch—she didn’t panic and stayed down, to be blown away by a spectacular show of the manta rays.
She also got a “Big Island Kiss “ on her first ocean dive – the surge got the best of her when she was looking into a cave for black tip sharks. Her head hit the top of the cave opening and she lost her mask. Again, she did not panic and had retrieved it and was back enjoying the dive - the dive master at Kona-Honu was most impressed and had applauded her and the training she had received from Gobe.
Thanks again for introducing us to a new, wonderful way to create the memories of a lifetime

To Peter, Barb and anyone thinking of utilizing Gobe Divers,
This is just a note of thanks for a great experience!! From the classroom instruction to the open water dive, everything was superb.
The classroom instruction was clear and easy to follow...comfort and safety were the driving forces behind everything I was taught. Peter’s teaching style was “watch me, then do”…always taking the time to explain each new skill in terms of individual importance as well as how the skill fit into the overall diving experience.
During breaks and “non-classroom” related trips to the shop, Barb was very friendly and helpful. She actually seemed to enjoy “talking shop” and explaining equipment choices to this beginner. Her technical knowledge was clearly evident, but never used as leverage over me…she simply explained the benefits and drawbacks to every choice point. Upselling and hard-selling cannot be found at Gobe Divers…thank God!! What a refreshing change from many retail establishments!
As I look to my first fully recreational dive, I do with confidence that I was sufficiently trained to not only have fun, but to be safe. If that is what you’re looking to get from a diving course, look no further.
